Timeframe Settings and Defaults

Recommended options

Timeframe settings

By default, the following timeframes are pre-installed in the indicator. If a timeframe appears empty, this is not a bug but a limitation due to the way TradingView handles predefined settings for timeframes. Ensure the selected timeframes are valid and supported in your TradingView settings.

Recommended Default Timeframes

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 24, 30, 35, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180, 240, 300, 360, 420, 480, 600, 720, 1080, 1200, 1380, 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D, 1W, 1M

Important Notes:

  • If a timeframe is missing, check your TradingView settings to ensure the timeframe is properly configured.

  • This behavior is not an issue with the indicator but stems from how TradingView handles timeframes that are not predefined.

  • The more timeframes you use, the longer rendering can take.

By sticking to these recommended defaults, you can ensure consistent and comprehensive analysis across multiple timeframes.

Native timeframes

Some people recommend using only “native” timeframes. For example Binance offers the following native timeframes:

  • 1m

  • 3m

  • 5m

  • 15m

  • 30m

  • 1h

  • 2h

  • 4h

  • 6h

  • 8h

  • 12h

  • 1d

  • 3d

  • 1w

  • 1M
